Weight Watchers Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe

Weight Watchers Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe

Dwardcooks Greek Yogurt Buffalo Chicken Dip Weight Watchers

Buffalo chicken dip will always be BAE. It's my favorite party food, and I choose to eat it as an entree instead of a dip to be "shared." Yeah right. It's cheese, hot sauce, more cheese, and it is typically eaten with my favorite carbs (any).

Unlike your aunt's buffalo chicken dip, this is very point friendly. It allows me to eat this as an entree at parties. For only 3 WW SP, you get a full half cup. That's a lot of dip!

Dwardcooks Greek Yogurt Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls Weight Watchers
Look, it's not easy to photograph beautiful buffalo chicken dip. I promise you though, it is tasty as heck.

Normalize Eating Party Food with No Parties

I eat buffalo chicken dip more often than the average person. I love it. It is so simple to make, and it makes an awesome, high protein meal prep. Buffalo chicken dip microwaves like a dream, it freezes well, and I honestly don't get tired of it.

Buffalo Chicken Dip on Sweet Potato
You can tell this is a candid based on the classy background of dirty dishes and me using the leftover birthday party paper plate.

Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Sweet Potatoes are the easiest meal prep you'll ever make.

If I need a no fuss meal prep, I bake some sweet potatoes, make some buffalo chicken dip, and reheat my sweet potatoes and buffalo chicken dip in the microwave for lunch. It may sound like a weird combination, but it works so well and I swear by this ugly, orange meal prep.

How to Make Greek Yogurt Buffalo Chicken Dip

Greek Yogurt Buffalo Chicken Dip Weight Watchers - Shredded Chicken
You can shred chicken by hand, but using a stand mixer cuts the time down significantly.

If you want your buffalo chicken dip to taste good, you need to start with delicious chicken. Don't go boiling chicken with no seasoning or using canned chicken. I am always so sad when a certain relative claims buffalo chicken dip as the things she's bringing to a party (pre-Covid) and she uses her canned chicken. If you don't know how to cook chicken that tastes good, buy my ebook--it'll change your life.

Greek Yogurt Buffalo Chicken Dip Weight Watchers - Buffalo
I always start with 1/4 cup buffalo sauce and go from there.

This buffalo chicken dip is using ranch powder, greek yogurt, cream cheese, and part skim mozzarella. It is not using a whole bottle of ranch like my non-WW friendly version calls for. That being said, the hot sauce hits a little differently so go light at first. You can always add, but can't take away. Of course, you can add my zero point ranch in my ebook, but that's fore another time and shameless plug.

Greek Yogurt Buffalo Chicken Dip Weight Watchers - Cream Cheese
Doesn't it just scream healthy?

How A Weight Watchers Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe Makes Sense.

You may see that picture of a whole brick of cream cheese on top of a pile of mozzarella and think that this can't be the healthiest, but you'd be surprised. First, I'm using 1/3 fat cream cheese--not out of "healthiness" but because it spreads way better than full fat. Second, the Greek yogurt does a good job making this creamy without ruining it by tasting like Greek yogurt. The ranch, hot sauce, and two cheeses balance out the tang of the yogurt--I swear.

Greek Yogurt Buffalo Chicken Dip Weight Watchers - Mixed
Again, this ain't the prettiest, but it is tasty.

When you think about it, this is actually mostly made of protein. Chicken, Greek yogurt, and cheese are all great sources of protein. 1/2 cup of this has the same amount of protein and 7 grams less fat than 3 eggs. You think about that next time you're looking at a hard boiled egg.

What healthy things can I dip into buffalo chicken dip?

Dwardcooks Greek Yogurt Buffalo Chicken Dip Weight Watchers
You do you, but I'm not going to pretend I don't eat this with a spoon hot or cold.

My go-to at a party is to eat half a full sized baguette with my buffalo chicken dip. When I am working on my wellness journey, I usually pair this with carrots, celery, or just fewer pieces of bread. As I said earlier, this works insanely well with a baked sweet potato.

Truthfully, I just microwave this and eat it with a spoon or put it on a low point roll. You do you. No one is judging you for your after school snacks, especially when they are guilt-free.

Living Room Decorating Ideas

The living room is one of the most important areas in your house for a great hosting experience. It's likely you and your guests will spend countless hours in this room, discussing and entertaining.

Decorating your living room properly will deliver deeply satisfying living for your leisure time. To get there, however, you must pay attention to all of the following areas:

1. the colors that you select

2. material and quality of seats and furniture

3. wall decorations and art

4. lighting and light fixtures

Below we show you some great ideas for decorating your living room.

The Best Colors for Your Living Room

One area that will have a disproportionate impact on the mood of your living room is the color you choose for the walls. While you can install wallpaper to change the look of certain walls, there are areas that wallpaper cannot cover. Getting the wall color right, therefore, gives you the best shot at creating a remarkable effect.

Some of the best color palettes for living rooms include:

1. White - White walls add a touch of class. They are the perfect backdrop for decorating with upscale furniture.

2. Turquoise - This color is great for creating an informal but refined feel. Your kids and family will love the refreshing mood this color creates.

3. Cream - Striking a balance between formal and informal, cream-colored walls create a quiet, soothing effect.

Furniture Choices

With your wall color selection made, you should select furniture that pairs well with the colors you've already chosen. For example, combining white couches with white walls will create resonance in your room design.

Make sure to provide ample seating to avoid crowding. Add multiple sofas, easy chairs and other seats that can accommodate a complete roomful of people, depending on the size of the room.

Furniture like TV stands and tables should generally blend in with the colors of the room and ceiling. There are some natural materials, however, that can work regardless of the colors on the walls. For example, wooden table surfaces look good whether your walls are white, blue or another color.

Lighting Ideas

You can greatly improve the aesthetics of a living room with bright lighting and impressive light fixtures.

To start, you can consider a beautiful chandelier in the center to provide light around the whole room. This central masterpiece ensures adequate lighting throughout the living room while adding an air of elegance.

You can then add to the light sources in the living room with individual lights on tables and around the walls in areas where people will not knock them down.

Carpeting

Consider adding carpeting to your living room to create a comfortable walking area. Carpeting lets you and your guests go barefoot if you choose. The living room almost demands this since you will want to take off your shoes and kick back on occasion. Warm plush carpets provide a good, comfortable surface for this. There are many choices when it comes to carpet size.

If your living room is very large, you can opt for wall-to-wall carpeting. On the other hand, if it's smaller, you can add just an area rug in the place where you will sit. For example, you can have a rug around the sitting and TV area where your kids will play.

The advantage of area rugs over wall to wall carpeting is, mainly, lower costs and ease of replacement. You can completely change the area rug and create a new aesthetic in a fraction of the time it would take to begin installing new wall-to-wall carpeting.

Art Ideas for Your Living Room

Many homeowners like to have some wall art in their living room. If your living room is spacious, it can accommodate a good-sized piece of art mounted alongside one wall. In some instances, you can consider multiple art pieces. Invariably, tasteful art adds to the sophistication of a living room. It adds an interesting item that sparks many conversations from impressed guests.

Selecting art is an opportunity to express your unique personality. If you are fairly conservative, you can select some classical type pieces that portray a quiet life. If you are more adventurous, you can experiment with a post-modern impressionist piece that others might consider risky. It's your space, and so feel free to decorate it to express who you are.

Square Rug Living Room

Square Rug Living Room

'As a general rule buy the largest size and the best quality rug you can afford and shop around,' say the experts at Modern Rugs. 'Investing in a good quality rug means it will stand up to wear and tear over a long period of time.'

A rug is a simple way to update your floors and interiors and transform a room. For example, you can go for a pared-back grey rug, a bold floral design, or even a shaggy rug. But depending on the room, size and overall theme you want to create, there are many options you need to consider before buying a rug.

Here, Modern Rugs share their top tips...

1. The room

Different rugs suit different areas. For example, hallways and kitchens tend to have much more foot fall than that of a bedroom or living room, therefore, it is best to choose a rug that is hardwearing and easy to clean. A slightly darker shade or patterned rug will make a good choice as they are less likely to show footprints in between cleaning.

BUY NOW: Christine Rug by Bluebellgray, £989, Modern Rugs

2. Size

Measure, measure and measure again, definitely don't guess. Measure your space and decide from there what dimensions will fit best. There are a few rules that you can apply to choosing the correct size rug for your room:

Avoid 'the floating rug' look in which you have a small rug in the middle of the room touching no furniture. A good purpose for your rug as well as adding colour or pattern, is to create an area which brings all of your furniture together, meaning you should try to get a bigger size so that it is touching or goes under furniture.

• If you are not sure what size will look best in your room you could try piecing together paper/newspaper and cover the floor space you imagine your rug will cover, this will give you an idea of size and if you will need to go bigger or smaller. Remember, the larger the rug, the more dominating the colour/pattern will be in the room.

3. Shape

You are not bound to a standard rectangular rug. A different shaped rug may suite your space better, for example, if you have a circular dining table you may want a larger circular rug to sit underneath the table and chairs.

4. Colour/Pattern/Style

Consider the use of your rug, and its surroundings – do you want it to make a statement? A rug is a good way to add a pop of colour to a room. A patterned rug can add personality to a room without it being too bold.

5. Fibre

Different materials are appropriate for different areas in the home and variants such as the amount of time you have for maintenance, and whether you have children or pets, are all things to be considered.

• Acrylic

Hard wearing and easy to clean, acrylic can be tufted and woven to replicate wool. It is usually a cheaper alternative to wool with the benefit of less shedding (fluff) and easier maintenance.

• Polypropylene

A synthetic fibre which is hardwearing, easy to maintain and good for high traffic areas. Can be made in flat weave or shaggy designs where developed fibres can now be made to feel very soft.

• Viscose

A less durable fibre usually used to add a luxe/sheen finish to the overall look of the rug. Usually blended with wool for a high quality result but not recommended for high traffic areas as it tends to be more delicate.

Modern Rugs

BUY NOW: Atelier Poule Rug by Brink & Campman, from £299, Modern Rugs

• Cotton

Usually made in a flat weave design, it is less durable fibre compared to that of other flat weave fibres such as sisal, jute or polypropylene, however it makes up for it in the softness.

• Wool

Extremely soft underfoot, wool is a very durable natural fibre which is easy to clean and also heat resistant making it the most preferred rug fibre for near fireplaces. Look for wool coming from high altitude areas as this can make the fibres even more durable.

• Jute

A natural fibre, jute is extremely durable and suitable for high traffic areas. It comes in a variety of weave patterns and has similar characteristics to sisal.

• Sisal

Very hardwearing (even more so than jute) and perfect for high traffic areas where you need a strong fibre. Sisal can be more coarse underfoot than that of other flat weave fibres such as jute, polypropylene and cotton. Although the fibre is hardwearing, when cleaning this must not get wet as it can stain and expand the fibres – special dry cleaning kits can be purchased for cleaning sisal rugs and carpets.

LIVING ROOM IDEAS

69 Fabulous Gray Living Room Designs To Inspire You

gray sofa in a pale gray background

Photograph Douglas Friedman

A mix between black and white, gray is by definition a neutral. Gray living room ideas can have different versions. This color can be warm or cool, dark and dramatic or bright and beautiful. And can even be used in grey furniture or gray living room walls, as an element of the room. I am very into gray, but only if the trim is right. If you don't want to paint your living room white, but want to keep the space nice and bright, pale gray is a great alternative. So if you like grey, these gray living room ideas will astonish you!

The perfect result, though, comes when in combination with accent colors for gray! But the question is, what goes with gray? A blue and gray living room is a good example! Gray can be a flat, boring color so choose your tone with care, along with the sprinkles of the other colors! Or why not create a light grey room.

Gray living room ideas for inspiration

Gray rooms are a great way to start refreshing your home decor. Especially the living room, which is one of the most important rooms in your home. The majority of people tend to spend most of their time there. So, if you love grey color, having some grey rooms will fit you perfectly! It is a neutral color that comes in many shades. Thus, being a top choice for people who love something minimal, classic but still stylish and unique.

Below are some ideas you can check out in order to see what grey rooms look like! They might be in color, in furniture or in small details that make the difference. Honestly, the list is endless!

Gray sectionals

Let's start with the simplest way to have a gray living room: sectionals and sofas. The grey tones you can use here are endless, ranging from pale ones to deeper gray hues. The materials of the furniture also play a significant role when it comes to the vibe that is created. Silk, velvet and other luxe fabrics will make the place look sophisticated and chic!

acent colors in gray living room

Some might think that a gray sofa is boring or unimaginative. I tend to disagree. The ever-popular gray sofa has more decorating potential than any other furniture in a home. It's the ideal base colour for endless styles and combinations.

Use pillows and throw baskets to add more colour and texture. During summer use thin and light throws in lively colours or patterns that complement your living room style. In winter, go for heavier fabrics in warmer tones for extra comfort. Throws are ideal for transforming your gray sofa easily and inexpensively. Pick a contrasting colour or material and change the ambience of your living room in seconds!

The ideal canvas color

Gray is a color that can be used as a canvas on your walls. With its neutrality it gives you the chance to play the place up with some other accents. It really allows the other elements to stand out and become the focal point of the living room. While at the same time it subtly makes the rest of the room –  your walls – to look fuller and cooler.

gray and phuchsia combination

A colorful living room with bright accents. This probably answers the question you might have as to what goes with gray. The picture can easily showcase some colors that go with gray walls! As you can see, there are several accent colors for gray that can be used in this case! The combination leaves you want for more! It is definitely a great way to sparingly add more color in your gray living room!

Grey living room 17 designs

Here as well, a sophisticated shade of grey highlights the dramatic impact of bright zingy colours. Bright pink and yellow are the ones that steal the show.

See how perfectly the yellow color goes with the gray for an amazing gray and yellow living room. Loved it! And in this case the cherry on top seems to be the grey furniture used. Notice how perfectly the different furniture colors combine together and bring this incredible design.

Gray living room walls are the perfect backdrop for your favourite bold artworks. Use bright prints or striking paintings, and make sure that you reference their colours in other elements in your living room, such as accessories, pillows or fabrics.

If you love vintage objects and furniture, a gray living room is also your ideal canvas to showcase your collection, add warmth and character. Mix the styles and colour tones to create your very own unique space.

Multiple gray living room shades

Living room ideas with the same color but in different shades? Yes! Who said you can't use different shades of gray in your living room? If you are afraid that this will make your place look very dull and boring, hear us out! This is one of the most chic options you can make for amazing home decor. You can spice it up, alternatively, with some neutral colored pillows or frames that will break the monotony of the gray shades. However, a soft tone goes well with a darker one. Like in this case.

dark gray sofa and decorative pillows

And if you want, you can do the exact opposite. Choose a dark shade for your walls and a softer one for the furniture.

Pro-tip: In this case it's advisable to use bold colored pillows to make the place stand out! And voila, just like that you will have a perfect gray living room!

blue and gray living room idea

Here you can see some bold blue shades in details, like pillows, that perfectly fit together with the shades of gray used in this living room. Dark purple is also another good color option you can make.

Use only soft gray tones

Soft gray is still a go-to, especially if you think that grey is a very dark color for your walls. Maybe, in this case you should reconsider that! The soft gray tones create a great sense of tranquility in your home interior instantly. Is your living room big enough and a lot of natural light comes in? Then it's a great idea to use these soft tones we are talking about. It will refresh your whole interior and make it look fantastic!

light gray sofa with pillows and a chandelier above

Cool and sophisticated, mid gray is a great foil for warm, grainy wood finishes. Despite being simple, this box fireplace surround below, filled with chopped logs, is an eye-catching focal point.

wood accent colors for gray living room

Soft gray is amazingly versatile as you can see in the two examples above. It adds luxury and sophistication, and it works wonderfully with metallic tones of copper or gold. It also accompanies nicely heavy wood furniture, making the space more open and lighter. At the same time, it is the ultimate modern colour, perfect for minimalist designs. It also works perfectly with sleek furniture and it enables unusual pieces and objects to stand out.

beige armchairs and gray flooring

Colors that go with gray living room walls

To break up the monotony of the color gray in the living room of this Brookville, New York home, interior designer Andrew Raquet used silver, gold, and lots of pattern. These special accent colors for gray create a unique decor everyone will love. It seems as a royal one, with special details that add to the majestic, aristocratic look! However, you can have the same look with some grey furniture. This is a great technique to use when you don't want to change the room overall.

gray sofa and black armchairs in grey room

Larette designed this contemporary California farmhouse with blue-gray living room walls that open up to the outside. The soft color works with the bright natural light.

Also, using cement gray shades can be a nice way to have a perfect result. That way you can have a light grey room and add more details to it. For example, in this case you can have some darker details on the walls and furniture. This is one of the greatest advantages of light grey rooms!

Of course, the "dullness" of such combination isn't for everyone. So you should think about it twice before implementing something like that.
